Appreciation

"My interactions with my daughter are very different now.  I feel like I am able to at least be a bit separated and be an observer of her instead of enmeshed in the hysteria.  It feels great and very empowering."

Why Guilt Is Not A Four Letter Word: Finding the I in Guilt

In today's Law of Attraction craze/phase, folks sometimes think that guilt is a four letter word - something to be avoided and gotten rid of. I definitely don't advise staying stuck in an energy of guilt but there is often a nugget of wisdom to be found in our guilt. The trick is to distinguish between different types of guilt.

  • Our inner guidance wanting to be heard
  • A hidden conflict between our actions and our values that is asking for our attention
  • Outside influences and messages that we've unknowingly absorbed but truly aren't ours and can be discarded
  • A taking on of guilt within a system when it truly belongs to another person

With an understanding of the different roles and parts of guilt, we can more effectively use tapping to clear guilt.

There are over 200 million blogs in the world so why the heck am I starting another?  Good question ....

My intention is to connect with like-minded folks and be an inspiration to others in their life journey.   There is a group of folks all over the world who came here, to earth, to break some pretty big stuck patterns.  We used to feel and think we were alone.  We grew up in a huge variety of family situations very commonly with some sort of emotional or sexual abuse.  This fine-tuned our empathic and intuitive skills but sometimes left some residual scars.

It's an obvious statement and yet an interesting situation that we have to be human to be here.  And being human means learning to navigate emotions and events in a way that serves us and others.  Our toolbox got a heck of a lot bigger with the creation of EFT.  I imagine hundreds of thousands of rockets of desires (to use an Abe term) contributed to the creation of EFT.

I am part of a group that is very clear we want the world to be and feel more inclusive, more loving, more powerful.  I am part of a group that came here to create in ways we can’t even imagine yet.

So my question to you is, Are you Ready?

As the mother of a boy and two girls, I find it easier to get along with my daughters than my son. I hate saying this and yet it is true. I understand my girls and share similar interests with them. I find my son to be abrasive and rude at times (my judgements ....) and it's not easy being with him. Even with my understanding of Law of Attraction and how our perceptions affect our reality, I haven't been able to shift this (yet).

I often wish for a more peaceful relationship with my son and, until now, that meant wanting him to be different.

My son and I have a very close yet sometimes intense relationship. We are quick to argue and resist each other. My son is my built-in authenticator - if I say something that is not true or authentic for me, he calls me on it. He exposes any faulty thinking or inconsistent values and calls me to have the highest integrity possible ...

My son and his initial needs led me to attachment parenting, homeopathy, different forms of bodywork, energy medicine in general, emotional freedom techniques, family constellations, birth process work, and more. Most of what I've learned in the past 10 years has been somehow prompted by my son.

My son won't go with the flow. Being who he is lead me to consider homeschooling. Being my son's mother, I have had to shatter pre-conceived notions about almost everything I know about parenting and raising children.
